Share experience, not prescriptions.
You can describe what happened for you and what questions helped. Do not diagnose another member, prescribe or recommend a dose, tell someone to stop treatment, or promise a cure. People’s care needs differ. Link care decisions back to qualified clinicians.
Protect your privacy and other people’s privacy.
Use a pseudonym. Leave out full names, contact details, account identifiers, test reports, and identifiable stories about someone else. Approved posts are public and can be copied, searched, or shared by readers. This is not a confidential patient portal.
Be kind, specific, and honest.
Disagreement is welcome when it is respectful. Harassment, threats, discrimination, impersonation, deceptive claims and pressure to buy or use a treatment do not belong here. Do not post promotional or paid-referral material. Disclose relevant professional or commercial affiliations when sharing an experience.
Moderation is a boundary, not a medical endorsement.
Every new post, reply and edit waits for moderation before becoming public. Approval means a contribution was allowed under the community rules; it does not verify the story or endorse a treatment. Moderators may reject a contribution or hide something previously approved. This space does not promise round-the-clock review or a response time.
Report a concern.
Signed-in readers can report an approved contribution using its Report control. Explain the concern without adding unnecessary personal information. A recorded report does not promise immediate action. For urgent medical symptoms, use medical care rather than waiting for a moderator.
Stay in control of your contributions.
My contributions shows your own content and its status. Editing returns it to moderation. You can delete individual contributions or remove all your forum contributions and saved alias. Clerk account management is separate; deleting an account does not automatically remove forum content.
Creating an account does not subscribe you to education emails. Use the separate Subscribe control if you want the email series.
